The Kaikora coastline mid winter, as the spray leaps off the sea and hangs in the air creating an ethereal mist. This is my favourite time of year in NZ

Thanks for your comments, Jan. We were there late summer and there was a mist at the end of the beach which gave the view an added mystery. With the mountains, whales, dolphins seals and penguins it was a magical place.I expect there was good diving there too.
