ROAD TO LUNT – WATERCOLOUR PAINTING

P1070171(1)

The village of Lunt just north of Liverpool lies on the Lancashire plain. The rich loam soil make it an area of farms spread across the flat land intersected by roads and drainage ditches. In the winter the area exudes desolation.

Other paintings of the area can be found on my website: grahammcquadefineart.com

  1. Thanks. I did it as a wide format, which I use quite a lot. On the left, in the background is a church which I have done in a similar format, but made the foreground really dark with a light strip just before the subject. I was in two minds whether to do it here. In the end I went for detail.
